This is our chihuahua Bambi. Bambi is about 9 or 10 years old, we think, and weighs in at about 6 lbs. My husband rescued her from an abusive home before he and I met. I call her my 'cuddlebug.' She really does love to be petted. When you stop, she'll roll over and lift one of her paws to you, as if to say, "Please don't stop!" She is the bully of the house, however. All of the other dogs 'fear her...' well sort of. She won't hesitate to chase the larger dogs away, though! She's fearless! I can't imagine how someone could abuse this sweet little thing. To this day, when you reach out to pet her, she crouches down to avoid being 'hit!' It just breaks my heart! She knows she is very much loved in our home though!
